Our History:

Pediatric Services of America, Inc., (PSA HealthCare), a Delaware Corporation, has a history rich in patient satisfaction and quality care. Originating as a respiratory therapy company more than 30 years ago, PSA expanded its scope of services in 1989 to include pediatric care for medically fragile children. Today, PSA Healthcare is the leading provider of children’s home health care and related services through a network of over 50 branch offices in 18 states.

Leaders in Pediatric Home Care

Acknowledging that children have special needs, PSA has been a forerunner in setting the standard for highly skilled pediatric nursing services; raising the level of clinical expertise in the pediatric community. PSA’s broad range of services expands beyond home health care to include rehabilitation and pediatric day treatment centers. Pediatric home health care is a distinct specialty within the health care services market requiring nurses and therapists trained to meet the special needs of pediatric patients. PSA caregivers are recognized nationwide for their high level of clinical expertise.

Clearly focused on delivering quality care to the patient and their family in the most cost-effective manner, PSA provides coordinated care across Pediatric Private Duty Nursing (PDN) and Pediatric Day Treatment Centers (PPEC) divisions geared toward optimal clinical outcomes.

PSA has earned the preeminent position as a national provider of pediatric health services delivering consistently solid financial performance. More than 50% of PSA's revenue comes from state Medicaid programs while roughly 40% comes from commercial payers and the remainder from Medicare.

Building on PSA Core Values
PSA’s future growth and development are centered on the PDN and PPEC divisions.

The ongoing growth and success of PSA remains dependent on the proven formula of the past… to consistently deliver compassionate, committed care for medically fragile children.
